Apps like Tinder, Hinge and Bumble aren’t publicly searchable. No honest tool can look inside them, so it helps to know what a photo search can actually do.

Can you find a dating profile by photo?

Only if the photo is on a public web page. That can include some dating sites, social profiles under another name, reposts and forum threads. A search can come back empty even if someone has an app profile. It can also surface a lookalike, so read each page before you conclude anything.

What can a photo search show?

  • Public dating-site pages that show the face.
  • Social accounts under a nickname or second name.
  • Pages that reuse the photo, such as blogs or forums.
  • Pages that look like theirs but belong to someone else.
  • Nothing at all, which tells you very little either way.

What other signs are worth noticing?

  • A phone that is suddenly guarded or always face down.

Can you see inside Tinder, Hinge or Bumble?

No. Those apps aren’t publicly indexed, so we can’t search inside them. We only find public web pages where the face appears.

If nothing shows up, are they not on dating apps?

No. An empty result only means no public page matched. It isn’t evidence either way.

Is it okay to search my partner?

It’s your call, but be honest with yourself about why. Searching to harass, stalk or track someone isn’t allowed, and results are never proof.

How accurate are the results?

Each match shows a similarity score. A high score means a very similar face, not a confirmed identity, so always verify before you act.

Do you store my photo?

Your full photo never leaves your device: only a crop around the face is sent, securely, to our search partner. We keep that crop with your private results so you can see which face was searched, and delete both after 48 hours.
