Privacy on SocialFinder
This page explains what data SocialFinder collects, what information is public, how we use data to operate the platform, and how users can request changes or deletion.

- Profile information such as username, bio, profile image, handles, links, tags, interests, and intent.
- Usage information such as visits, clicks, views, device/browser details, and product interaction events.
- Safety and support information such as reports, moderation notes, or messages you send to support.
2. Public data vs. private data
Public profile data can include:
- your username and profile URL
- your public bio, profile image, tags, interests, and intent
- the social handles, links, and platform details you choose to publish
Private account data can include:
- your email address and authentication details
- internal analytics, moderation history, and support communication
- operational records used for fraud prevention, abuse review, and account recovery
Public profile information may be visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines.
3. How we use data
- To create, host, and maintain public profiles.
- To improve discovery, ranking, search quality, and profile relevance.
- To measure product usage, diagnose issues, and improve reliability.
- To detect abuse, enforce policy, investigate reports, and keep the platform safe.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data unless we clearly disclose otherwise in a future update to this policy.
- Public profile information is visible to the public by design.
- We may share data with service providers that help us operate hosting, analytics, moderation, support, and security workflows.
- We may disclose data when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce rules, or prevent harm.
